Inspector notes: Thermometers are lacking in the walk-in cooler and the dairy/deli reach-in refrigerator. Cold holding equipment used for time/temperature control for safety (TCS) foods must have at least one thermometer that is located to allow easy viewing of the temperature display.

Inspector notes: The doors to the outside, located at the entrance, are not tight-fitting. Space observed between the doors. Outer openings of a food establishment must be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by tight-fitting doors.

Inspector notes: Back room is overstocked. Pallets are up against the walls with no space between them resulting in an inability to inspect for pest activity. Pallets and u-boats must be 6 inches from the walls and each other in order to properly inspect for pest activity.

Inspector notes: The presence of rodents is not controlled as evidenced by droppings, urine, and nesting material observed in the snack aisle and in the back room. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests must be controlled by routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests, using acceptable methods to control pests, eliminating harborage conditions, and routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies. Pallets observed to be against the walls and directly adjacent to each other. The pallets in the back storage room must be six inches from the walls and each other to allow for thorough inspection and treatment for pest activity. Store manager has routinely inspected and voluntarily disposed of contaminated product as needed. All shelving and floors (including under gondolas and pallets) must be properly cleaned to remove droppings, urine, nesting material, and food products from opened/gnawed through bags. Pest control contacted to evaluate this issue and determine necessary steps to be followed to eliminate the problem.
