Inspector notes: Observed a chlorine dishwasher with 0ppm of chlorine concentration after final rinse. Chlorine test strips were available and easily accessible. There were dishes being washed at time of inspection. PIC made several attempts to prime the dishwasher, each time, there was 0ppm of chlorine after final rinse. PIC called for service at time of inspection. Advised PIC to use the 3 compartment sink until dishwasher is fixed

Inspector notes: Employee observed taking dirty dishes to the 3 compartment sink, same employee then used their cell phone, then began to switch gloves before returning to the cook line. The employee was asked to remove gloves and wash hands. Another employee observed texting then began to make a customer drink. The employee was asked to remove gloves and wash hands. Both employees were observed properly washing hands before continuing with work. Per FDA Food Code 2017, food employees must wash their hands after any activity which may result in contamination of the hands. Switching gloves only is not sufficient. Inspector notes: Upon time of inspection, observed an employee with long artificial nails working with exposed/ready to eat food without gloves on. The employee was bagging ready to eat food items like corn dogs and chicken strips for customers. PIC instructed the employee to wear gloves. The employee was observed washing hands and putting on clean gloves. Unless wearing intact gloves in good repair, a FOOD EMPLOYEE may not wear fingernail polish or artificial fingernails when working with exposed FOOD
