Arrowhead Elementary School

Inspector notes: Observed the handwashing sink nearest the office with the hot water fully turned on when EHS arrived onsite. The manager led EHS over to the handwashing station where the stream was still cold to the touch. The manager stated they continue to have difficulty getting the hot water up to 100°F in 45 seconds at the beginning of the day at that particular handwashing station. All other handwashing stations were above 100°F when the hot water was turned on. EHS did not observe any handwashing violations while on site. However, the handwashing sink nearest the office must be properly repaired due to its location. Hand sinks must be properly maintained and must be centrally located, visible, and directly accessible within 25-feet of all workstations/areas
