Inspector notes: Observed two handwashing sinks in the main kitchen without hot water. One sink had the hot water valve turned off, and the other sink was not producing adequately heated water. (RCA): Handwashing sinks must be equipped to provide tempered water at a minimum temperature of 85°F (29.4°C) through a mixing valve or combination faucet to ensure proper handwashing, in accordance with DPH Rule 511-6-1-.06(2)(f).

Inspector notes: Observed spoons in the front line handwashing sink. CA/COS: PIC removed spoons. RCA: Using a Handwashing Sink. 1. A handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use. 2. A handwashing facility may not be used for purposes other than handwashing.

Inspector notes: Observed shrimp and lettuce stored uncovered inside the reach-in unit. Additionally, observed multiple food items (bagels, pastries, and breads) uncovered at the front buffet with no sneeze guards or protective covers, exposing food to potential contamination. (RCA): Food must be protected from contamination by storing it in packages, covered containers, or wrappings, except during approved cooling processes where food is otherwise protected from overhead contamination, in accordance with DPH Rule 511-6-1-.04(4)(j).
