Inspector notes: 1200-23-01-.06(3)(d) Stove top grills observed in different areas without a cooking hood above them. Staff boarded up the exhaust fan. When asked what is the various cooked meats, eggs, pico on the active prep table were doing. Staff said it is their food that they have been eating on while working. Inspector did not observe them eat. Please have all personal foods in a designated area. Also do not eat while actively working inside the kitchen. Observed a child and a baby inside the ice cream prep station. The baby was in a carseat ontop of boxed foods. The child was beside the ice cream prep station but was scooted over to where they could no longer reach. Inspector asked for both the child and baby to moved outside of the kitchen entirely for their safety. Additionally, individuals that are not employeed and on the clock by or providing a service for the establishment are permitted to be inside permitted kitchens. No unnecessary individuals.
