Inspector notes: - Observed facility using reusable plates, cups, and utensils, which was not approved by the department. PIC agreed to discontinue use of reusable items and return to approved single-use articles only. - Observed facility using dishwashers inside of the classrooms to wash children's reusable plates, cups, and utensils (unapproved items), which was not approved by the department. PIC agreed to discontinue use of the dishwashers inside of the classrooms and return to approved single-use articles only. - Observed reheating equipment (microwaves and toaster ovens) inside of the classrooms for reheating children's food items, which was not approved by the department. PIC agreed to discontinue use of the reheating equipment and reheating operations. - Observed unapproved reheating operations without a person with a valid Philadelphia Food Safety Certificate present. PIC agreed to discontinue use of unapproved reheating operations and to obtain a Philadelphia Food Safety Certificate. - Observed children's food items stored inside of the reach-in refrigerators/freezers in the classrooms, which was not approved by the department. Reach-in refrigerators/freezers inside of the classrooms was approved for storing water only. PIC agreed to discontinue storing children's food items inside of the reach-in refrigerators/freezers inside of the classrooms and to return them to the approved refrigerator closest to the 3rd st. exit (staff area). New Violation.

Inspector notes: No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department. Observed facility reheating food items (unapproved operations) in the facility without a person with a valid Philadelphia Food Safety Certificate present. New Violation.
