Inspector notes: At time of inspection, observed waste water in the mop sink, located in the back of the kitchen, not draining. Currently the waste water is contained within the mop sink basin. PIC is aware of the problem and contacted the owner to correct the issue. At time, ran all the water in the establishment, and did not observed any backflow from the mop sink or any floor drains. Explained to PIC, if at any time when trying to get the mop sink to drain that if the water starts backing up into the sink, floor drains, or establishment; that the establishment will need to be closed. A re-inspection will be conducted in 24 hours to ensure that the mop sink is draining properly and has no standing water.
