Inspector notes: Observed employee drop plastic cups on floor, pick up and dispose of cups, and proceed to make beverages without washing hands. Instructed employee to wash hands before making beverages and scooping ice. Employee properly washed hands at handwash sink at time of inspection. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks

Inspector notes: Observed sink with handwashing signage holding a dump tray inside. Per person-in-charge (PIC), sink is used as both a handwashing sink and a dump sink. PIC stated all three handsinks in bar are used for both handwashing and dumping ice/garnishes. Informed PIC at least one sink must be designated as a handwashing sink, display the required signage, and may not be used for anything other than handwashing. PIC removed signage from dump sink and relocated it to the designated handwashing sink at time of inspection. PIC will ensure establishment discontinues use of handwash sink for all activities that are not for handwashing
