Inspector notes: Observed employee discard liquid food product into sink labelled "for handwashing only" across from standing cooler in back kitchen area. Person-in-charge (PIC) advised that the sink is only ever used for discarding excess product or prep. Sink has a soap dispenser and paper towels located nearby, as well as a direct connection making it not available for food prep. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap, and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. PIC will ensure establishment discontinues use of handwash sink for all activities that are not for handwashing
