Inspector notes: Observed the raw chicken display case in the meat market with a temperature of 47*F with min/max thermometer. The min/max thermometer was left in the closed unit for 15-minutes. Discussed with person in charge (PIC) that the internal temperature of the unit needs to be checked regularly to ensure chicken is kept at 41* F or lower. PIC moved the chicken to the bottom storage area of the unit that was 38* F. PIC called to have the unit repaired.
