Inspector notes: Observed y-valve attached to end of mop sink downstream from AVB (Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker) system. A chemical dispenser was also attached to the y valve at time of inspection. Mop sink was not in use and was on with continuous pressure at time of inspection. Shut-offs, including chemical dispensers, Y-valves, and sprayer nozzles, are not approved for continuous installation downstream from atmospheric vacuum breakers. Disconnected Y-valve from mop sink and spoke to PIC about approved methods of attaching/removing the chemical dispenser from the mop sink
