Plumbing system not maintained in good repair
Inspector notes: Observed the mop sink with a newly installed chemical dispenser attached to the main faucet of the mop sink. In addition, the establishment has installed a y-valve to split the water between the chemical dispenser and a hose. The faucet was observed to be turned on with the y-valve closed, creating constant pressure on the atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB) backflow prevention device. The establishment shall provide a separate, dedicated water line for the chemical dispenser, remove the y-valve and refrain from using it any further.
