Inspector notes: At time of inspection, observed Y-valve or side kick attached to mop sink faucet that has an AVB; one side was connected directly to the chemical dispenser and one side was connected to a hose that was hanging in the mop sink. Explained to PIC that the AVB valve is not designed to be continuously under pressure and that there shouldn't be any obstructions downstream from the AVB valve. This could result in the backflow prevention device to fail. PIC disconnect Y-valve at time. Install a dedicated water line for the chemical dispenser prior to next routine inspection if establishment wants to continue using it
