Inspector notes: Found out of date tuna and cut strawberries marked 5/28. COS: PIC discarded food but made comment stating she meant to throw away the tuna and that the strawberries were still good. I informed the PIC that once they are cut, the strawberries are now a TCS food and must be discarded after 7 days and both food items should've been thrown away a week ago.

Inspector notes: Observed a food prep employee with single-use gloves on not remove her gloves when leaving the kitchen. Food prepper then opened the door to dry storage, removed a package of chocolate chip cookies, returned to the kitchen, and started to remove the cookies with the same gloves on. COS: I stopped the food prepper and had her discard the cookies she touched with contaminated gloves, explained to her about proper glove use, and had her wash her hands and put on new gloves.
