Inspector notes: Observed 3 compartment sink with sanitizer reading "zero" strength for the chemical measuring strips the facility has on hand. The facility uses Sanitizer with Lactic Acid, and has strips in facility but sanitizer sink measures "zero". Employee stated sanitizer dispenser has not been working correctly. Observed no sanitizer buckets on hand for wiping surfaces throughout facility. A chemical sanitizer used in a sanitizing solution for a manual or mechanical operation at contact times specified under subsection (8)(b)3 of this Rule shall meet the requirements specified in DPH Rule 511-6-1-.07(6)(g), shall be used in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered label and shall be used at proper strength.
