Inspector notes: OBSERVED BY THIS INSPECTOR ON 7-17-19 AT 10:30 AM. A CUSTOMER INSIDE THE DINING ROOM WITH A PET DOG, NOT A SERVICE ANIMAL, SITTING AT THE COUNTER SEATING FEEDING THE PET DOG FROM THE COUNTER AND WALKING DOG TO CONDIMENT STAND THEN BACK TO SEATING. AN EMPLOYEE WAS NOTIFIED AND THE EMPLOYEE DID NOT RESPOND AND DID NOT ASK THE CUSTOMER TO REMOVE THE DOG. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER A SECOND EMPLOYEE CLEANING TABLES IN THE DINING ROOM WAS NOTIFIED AND ALSO DID NOT RESPOND AND WALKED AWAY. NO ONE APPROACHED THIS CUSTOMER AND HER DOG DURING HER ENTIRE STAY IN THE ESTABLISHMENT. DURING THIS TIME AT TODAY'S INSPECTION NOTED A CUSTOMER SITTING ON THE OUTDOOR, NON DOG FRIENDLY LICENSED PATIO, WITH A PET DOG. CUSTOMER LEFT DOG UNATTENDED WHILE PURCHASING DRINK THEN RETURNED TO THE DOG. MANAGEMENT WAS NOTIFIED BY MYSELF DURING THIS INSPECTION AND THE DOG WAS REMOVED. REVIEWED WITH MANAGEMENT THAT LIVE ANIMALS MAY NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES OF A RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION 7-40-060 CITATION ISSUED.
