Inspector notes: OBSERVED APPROXIMATELY 30 LIVE FRUIT FLIES ON THE WALL BEHIND THE DONUT DISPLAY,20 LIVE FRUIT FLIES ON THE SIDE WALL OF THE DONUT DISPLAY CASE AND ON THE DONUT DISPLAY CASE SHUTTER, 10 LANDING ON AND FLYING AROUND THE DONUTS AND CROISSANTS, ALL IN THE FRONT FOOD PREP AREA. ALSO OBSERVED 50 LIVE FRUIT FLIES ON THE EAST DUNKIN DONUT DESIGNED WALL IN THE DINING ROOM AROUND THE ICE CREAM CAKE FREEZER AND JUICE COOLER ADJACENT TO THE FRONT FOOD PREP AREA. INSTRUCTED TO DISCARD THE DONUTS AND CROISSANTS THAT THE FRUIT FLIES LANDED ON AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. MANAGER VOLUNTARILY DISCARDED THE FOOD ITEMS, APPROXIMATELY 10LBS VALUED AT $150. INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE THE NOTED AREAS AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL TO ELIMINATE THE PEST ACTIVITY. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-020
